Q Magazine Summary

Q magazine follows a monochrome and red house style which I believe makes it have a professional and sophisticated mode of address, and therefore believe appeals to a more mature demographic, who are passionate about music. I believe that the contents page is very successful as it integrates text and images to make it appeal to a wider variety of people. Due to the magazine being bright and colourful it is very user friendly and aesthetically appealing, yet is is easy to read and navigate throughout. I think this double page spread is also successful as it fits in with the house style of the magazine and appeals to their older demographic. Although as I love Q's layout ideas I will be using a lot of them in my magazine, I will have to change them slightly in order for the magazine to suit my younger demographic.
